Best Expansion Deal?
Hey guys, I just recently came back to GW, but don't have any of the expansions, just the original game.
What is the best way going about buying the three? Wouldn't it be more cost efficient just to buy the "GW Trilogy" set, instead of buying them all individually or is there already a set of all the expansions out there on the market? Thanks in advance |

There's only one expansion, Eye of the North, and three campaigns, Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall.
If you live in Europe, you could buy the Complete Collection. If living in the US, you could buy the Trilogy and Eye of the North separately. Buying one of these packs will always be cheaper than buying each campaign separately. I however don't know where you should buy them, probably should do a search on some online shops. The NCSoft store or the Guild Wars ingame store is definitely costlier than any other gameshop out there. --- Whatever you do, you should always link the new campaigns to your existing account if you want to keep using your characters in the new campaigns. This can be done by clicking 'add access key to an existing account' at the GW login. Cheers Last edited by Arduin; Mar 01, 2010 at 05:45 AM // 05:45.. |

Just buy the trilogy set, should only cost you about $60 Canadian. Where as Nightfall alone is usually $40 and Factions would run you about another $30 or so? Eye of the North usually only about $10.
Best bet is to just buy the trilogy and EotN. If your going to just buy them one at a time though start off with EotN most bang for your buck IMO. |
